Gray Fox

This was a wonderful release of eight Gray Foxes that were captured at the Chaffee Zoo as they were trying to capture feral cats. They were given to Fresno Wildlife Rehabilitation for release. They were kept for a time to make sure they were healthy and had no problems that needed attention.

On Saturday, October 29^th, they were taken to a forested area and released one at a time. It was such a joy to see each one take its own path and run like the dickens. Later they will start calling out so they can find each other. Here are some pictures from this event.
